Our company is based in Nuremberg (Bavaria), in a prime central location, directly on the idyllic Wöhrder See. From here, we coordinate our Germany-wide projects and ensure that our customers receive exactly what they expect from us: the best service and high quality.
The light-flooded rooms provide space for precise coordination and planning of our photovoltaic projects. This is where we welcome customers and cooperation partners alike in order to drive the energy transition forward together.

Our company history
- April 2000
The Renewable Energy Sources Act comes into force on April 01, 2000. This law makes the construction of photovoltaic systems in Germany economically viable.
- 2006
The current construction manager of the Solar Direktinvest Group begins with the project planning and construction of PV roof systems. He has now successfully completed well over 100 PV projects.
- october 2016
The managing director Andreas Köhler founds Solar Direktinvest. The aim is to realize high-quality solar projects and offer them to investors.
- June 2022
Solar Direktinvest handles the entire project development itself. This further increases both efficiency and quality.
- October 2022
The Solar Direktinvest Group already employs over 60 internal and external staff to meet the high demand. Processes are optimized with in-house technicians and lawyers.
- November 2022
Solar Direktinvest moves to its new headquarters in Nuremberg. In the heart of the Bavarian city, the photovoltaic projects are now planned and the Germany-wide business is managed.
Our corporate goals
Bis Ende 2025 will die Nürnberger Solar Direktinvest Photovoltaik-Anlagen mit einer neuen Gesamtleistung von 300 Megawatt entwickelt haben.
Unsere bisher umgesetzten Photovoltaik Anlagen versorgen ca. 30.000 Haushalte pro Jahr. Zum Jahresende 2025 wollen wir über 60.000 Haushalte pro Jahr deutschlandweit mit Strom versorgen.
Bisher sparen unsere bereits umgesetzten PV Anlagen in etwa 36.000 Tonnen CO2-Emission pro Jahr ein. Bis Ende 2025 möchten wir mit unseren Solar-Anlagen pro Jahr 72.000 Tonnen CO2 einsparen. Dies entspricht dem CO2-Ausstoß von 24.300 Flugzeugen, welche von München nach New York fliegen.
Environmental protection and sustainability
Melting poles, air pollution, rising sea levels and the decline in biodiversity are just some of the current major environmental problems. We are of the opinion that it is time to act.
The energy transition, but above all environmental protection and sustainability, are very important to us. With our photovoltaic investments, we give many investors the opportunity to make their own contribution to the energy transition. But we are not stopping here!
Together with our cooperation partner PLANT-MY-TREE® , we plant 1,000 trees per year. In this way, an entire forest is being created in Büttelborn (Hesse), which was planted by us. By protecting the forest from clearing and commercial use for 99 years, we are creating a natural environment for hundreds of native animal and plant species.
After all, protecting the climate and the environment is very important to us. We continue to look for new ways to pursue this as a company and look forward to making a major contribution to the German energy transition with the expansion of photovoltaics.
