Is there a legally guaranteed remuneration for solar investments?

Every PV system operator in Germany who wants to buy a photovoltaic system receives state-guaranteed remuneration for their solar investment over 20 years plus the year of commissioning. The state guarantees the purchase of all the electricity produced at the kWh price that applied in the month of commissioning. This is laid down in the Renewable Energy Sources Act, which first came into force in 2000. This law laid a further foundation for the expansion of renewable energies in Germany.
