The Ponycenter Dehausen is located in the tranquil town of Dehausen in the municipality of Diemelstadt. Solar Direktinvest GmbH is building a solar plant with a planned plant size of around 250.51 kWp on the roof of the center. Even before the start of construction, an investor had already accepted this offer, meaning that the photovoltaic system was no longer available within a very short time.
Diemelstadt is located in the northern Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg. The comparatively young town, which was created in the course of the Hessian territorial reform, has its administrative headquarters in Rhoden and nine districts, including Dehausen. The Ponycenter is located on the outskirts of the town, surrounded by pastures and fields. There is no need to worry about shading the PV system here: neither buildings nor trees shade the large area of the gable roof.
Both the fabric of the building and the roof area are in good condition, meaning that refurbishment is not expected for the next few decades. The investor can enjoy a 20-year basic term with a two-time extension option of ten years . In this way, we ensure that the up to 40-year term of the photovoltaic system can be fully utilized. This means that the new system can supply up to 125 households with electricity every year for several decades. This means that the entire village, which has just under 100 inhabitants, can be supplied with ecologically generated, green electricity all year round. The new plant is expected to be commissioned in 2023.
